Band Classes

At MLWGS, you will receive a comprehensive instrumental performance education. All students at MLWGS perform concert and jazz music for a well-rounded experience. Additionally, MLWGS offers musical opportunities not offered by other programs, including percussion ensemble class , Advanced Placement courses and Senior Seminars which are offered for musicians interested in advanced theoretical concepts, songwriting, and music production. Music is taught in a non-competitive, inviting atmosphere with a high standard for excellence.

Starting in 2023,  seniors will be eligible to take Intensive Advanced Band. This course is designed for District and State level players and awards additional GPA credit.
