"Maggie Walker music helped prepare me to major in music by providing opportunities to explore many genres of music in all different types of ensembles, such as jazz band, concert band, pit orchestra, and small jazz combos. Mr. Merillat also provided very helpful resources for audition preparation. In addition, the opportunity to take AP Music Theory provided a very solid foundation of music theory knowledge that has helped me in my college music theory class."
