2022 Maggie L. Walker Senior Art Exhibition

Thanks for joining us for the gala opening of the 2022 Maggie L. Walker Senior Art Exhibition, This year's show was titled, ”The Great Senior Exhibition" and is based loosely on the 1851 "Great Exhibition" or "Crystal Palace Exhibition" which was the first of many "World's Fairs" popular in the 19th and early 20th centuries. This same enthusiasm for learning, culture, and exploration was captured in the student artworks in this off-campus exhibition at Artworks Gallery Richmond. The exhibition, which is the capstone event of our MLWGS visual arts program, highlights the collected works of 12 Maggie Walker art seniors including Kaitlyn Baker, Savannah Cave, Mallory French, Matthieu Friedman, Hanna Ngai, Lexi Pasternak, Devyn Powers, Audrey Price, Gwen Stankiewicz, Olivia Town, Nathaniel Williams, and Anna Yao. The exhibition ran from Friday June 3, through June 12, 2022 at ArtWorks Gallery Richmond.
